This motel is quite a treat. It started at the front desk with all the quirky signs. Check in was quick, easy, and friendly. We were greeted by carved bears everywhere. The room was very clean and had everything we needed. The shower stall was a little small, but quite comfortable once you got in it. The refrigerator was not plugged in, so we had to wait a little bit for it to cool, but this wasn't a problem. There is a cute little patio area in the back with a nice, relaxing view of the river. Don't miss the big bear picture in the room with the coffee and ice. We were very happy with our stay and will definitely stay there again next time we are in the area.

This is one of the most unique, and charming motels I've ever visited! Front desk was amazing and so very helpful, our room was absolutely spotless and very comfy for my husband and I, not to mention the charm and how unique this place is with all the custom woodwork, the wooden statues, fun signs, and the amazing mounts.....I can't help but admire the time and thought that has went into every corner of this place! Small picnic benches overlooking the beautiful river, a little pergola sitting area outside also! This is the perfect small mountain town motel!! We highly recommend a stay here!!

I stayed here on a bike trip. My room was in excellent shape, and they had everything I needed. A grocery is across the road, and there are plenty of good restaurants within a short walk. The real prize of this place, though, is the view of the river from behind the motel. The owners have thoughtfully placed chairs and tables against the back railing, and it's a nice place to sit and enjoy a nightcap at the end of the day.
